Sales Executive - Steel Manufacturing Industry

Purpose:

Developing and managing domestic/ export sales by identifying new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with customers and distributors, and achieving assigned sales targets. The role includes handling local/ export enquiries, preparing quotations, coordinating shipments, monitoring market trends, and ensuring excellent customer service while expanding the company's global market presence.

Responsibility

Sales & Business Development

• Identify, develop, and expand business opportunities in domestic/ overseas markets.

• Promote and sell the company's products to domestic/ international customers, distributors, traders, and agents.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing domestic/ overseas customers while actively acquiring new accounts.

• Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and follow up on enquiries to secure sales orders.

Customer Relationship Management

• Maintain regular communication with domestic/ overseas customers to understand their requirements and market conditions.

• Provide professional after-sales support and resolve customer issues promptly.

• Coordinate customer visits and factory tours when required.

• Build long-term partnerships to increase customer loyalty and repeat business.

Sales Coordination

• Coordinate closely with Production, Planning, Logistics, Warehouse, and Finance departments to ensure smooth order processing and on-time delivery.

• Monitor production schedules, shipment status, and delivery timelines.

• Prepare and verify export documentation, including Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, Bill of Lading instructions, and other shipping documents.

• Ensure compliance with export regulations, customs requirements, and international trade procedures.

Requirements

1. Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.

2. Minimum 2–5 years of sales experience in the manufacturing, steel, construction materials, industrial products, or related industries.

3. Experience in in export sales, international business development, or overseas sales.

4. Experience handling export documentation and international shipping processes is an advantage.

Mon to Fri, 8am to 5:30pm
