Site HR Manager

Overview and Key Responsibilities

He/She acts as the Country HR Coordinator that represents the Group Function HR in that country, internally and externally, including all Industrial Relations topics in close collaboration & guidance of Country HR Coordinator Asia (out of China). There are two sites in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities of Site HR, Singapore

• Act as the local point of contact for all GBUs (Global Business Unit) and HR Strategic Business Partners.
• Support managers in contract management of employees like follow-up with employees to determine the condition of exit, administrative follow-up – including payroll, organization charts
• Negotiation and management of social agreements
• Play key role in transformation projects roll out by Corporate HR team
• Repositioning/outplacement of on-site employees impacted by restructuring
• Initiate, decide and implement local perks with support/challenge of Group Function Compensation & Benefits
• Prepare communication to employees to animate the site community like newsletter, web and blog etc.
• Organize Site specific events including societal & wellbeing actions
• Implement the Group HR Strategy, policies and procedures within its own perimeter under the direct guidance of Country HR Coordinator Asia (out of China).
• Represent the Group in professional associations, governmental bodies, and employer associations and toward unions.
• Preparing and rolling out offers to both managerial and non-managerial candidates
• Managing the entire Talent Acquisition process of non-managerial employees
• Manage On-boarding & Off-boarding of local sites
• Manage learning and career development of entire non-managerial population
• Responsible for the administration of all employee life-cycle events like absences, career interruption, disciplinary actions etc.

Key Responsibilities of Site HR, Australia New Zealand
• Similar to the above
• With additional Payroll scope for one sites in Australia

Education and Experience

• Minimum 10 years of working experience in managing the full spectrum of HR functions and familiar with local employment laws & regulations
• Bachelor Degree in Human Resource Management
• Able to operate within the framework of global and country policies, processes and statutory guidelines
• Good team-player yet able to work independently
• Experience working in a matrix environment with diverse workforce
• Experience in managing various levels of stakeholders (From Plant blue collars to Directors)
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and driven to achieve HR excellence
• Fluency in English and knowledge of additional language like Chinese would be a plus
