Job Description

General Description:

This position is responsible for effective handling of tenders from customers and aligning opportunities with the company’s strategic objectives

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
• Work closely with global and regional account management team to lead or support the preparation and submission of tenders for global and strategic customers
• Analyse tender specifications and liaise with countries mainly in the APAC region for accurate and timely responses
• Coordinate with multiple stakeholders including local offices and central procurement teams to ensure high quality and competitive offers
• Develop a project plan and for adequate pricing analysis, internal review and evaluation in-line with the global tender management process
• Maintain record of tenders in internal reports and tender document management system
• Leading/involve in meeting with cross region stakeholder to give advice or provide analysis from Tender Management perspective to achieve corporate goal.
• Other assignments and participation in related projects, as required

Skills Required:

– Advanced MS-Excel is mandatory
– Ability to utilize software efficiently eg. Ariba/Jagger/etc.
– Fast-thinker, Problem solver and strong aptitude for numbers
– Good interpersonal skills and understanding of cultural diversity
– Required bilingual in spoken and written English
– Ability to multitask and perform under pressure

Qualifications & Experience:
• Diploma in SCM/Logistics/Business Administration or other related fields preferred
• 2-3 years’ experience in the freight forwarding/logistics industry especially in Ocean freight
