• Manage day-to-day logistics hub operations
• Demonstrate workplace safety protocol in order to create a safe working environment
• Lead and drive for continuous improvement in materials flow, manning, space and inventory management
• Perform risk assessment together with HSE department and ensure safety first for operation
• Manage data through a combination of data mining, modelling and analysis (cost-benefit analysis, problem analysis, etc.)
• Management of inbound/outbound operations to optimize space and inventory management
• Report key performance indices on a regular basis
• Manage and maintain effective people and teams on the ground, aligning them to company’s goals and directions;
• Be accountable for operational non conformities, by finding effective solutions.
• Process improvement and optimization;
• Work with the operations team to ensure decisions for operational activities and strategic objectives are met;
• Assist in the communications of SOPs and service excellence to all employees;
• Plan and monitor the day-to-day operations to ensure smooth progress;
• Support staff from operation units and provide constructive feedback;
• Monitor the efficiency of operational procedures according to organizational objectives and propose and implement improvements amongst the team;
• Coach, mentor and provide guidance and encouragement to team, including communicating team goals and identifying areas for development;
• Develops strategies to promote team member adherence to company regulations and performance goals;
• Proven experience in business management and leadership principles and practices;
• Strategic orientation to identify and support the evolving priorities for a business;
• Experience in identifying opportunities for operational process improvement;
• Change adaptability with an agile mindset;
• Proactive approach, able to facilitate effective delivery/outcomes from own and others effort
• Provide inspired leadership for the organization.
• Work with the Facilities team to continuously improve the office environment and facilities.
• Work with senior stakeholders to identify business needs and find solutions.
• Attending all stakeholders’ meetings.
• Assess, manage, and develop an effective individual performance development plan for the team while ensuring alignment of resources with business needs.
• Direct engagement with stakeholders and end users which includes regular and ad hoc engagements within structured meetings, workgroups and project teams.
• Conduct and oversee audits of logistics teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for quality assurance and management.
• Lead the development and monitoring of evaluation models for services provided;
• Evaluate and review performance, in order to drive cost and service improvement initiatives.
• Lead continual review of safety standards and ensure compliance.
• Support logistics service offerings and accounts.
Mandatory Requirements
• With 3 to 5 years’ experience as a Warehouse Logistics Executive under any global 3rd party Logistics MNC
• Ability to multi-task in a fast –paced environments
• Ability to motivate & manage a dynamic service-oriented organization
• Ability to support change in a fast-moving environments & coach organization
• Ability to use the technical skill, process discipline to build & develop service deliverables & capabilities.
• Mature, self-motivated, and able to work independently
• Able to speak, read and write English upon directly communicating with customers or / and appointed vendors
