Job Description:
The Deployment Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the successful deployment, integration, and operation of new systems, software, and infrastructure. This individual will play a critical role in the delivery of high-quality, stable and secure systems to our clients.
Responsibilities:
● Plan, design, and execute software and infrastructure deployment strategies for multiple clients
● Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration between new systems and existing infrastructure
● Automate and streamline deployment processes for efficiency and consistency
● Monitor, maintain and improve the performance and availability of deployed systems
● Manage and track the deployment of software and infrastructure updates, patches, and security fixes
● Troubleshoot and resolve deployment and integration issues as they arise
● Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including deployment processes and procedures
● Handle Desktop Support as needed
● Mentor and train junior deployment engineers as needed
Requirements:
● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
● 5+ years of experience in a Deployment Engineering or similar role ; fresh with relevant education faculty can also apply.
● Strong experience with cloud deployment and infrastructure automation tools (e.g. AWS, Terraform, Ansible)
● Excellent knowledge of software deployment methodologies and tools (e.g. CI/CD pipelines)
● Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash or Ruby
● Experience working with Windows Server systems and Linux Server systems (Ubuntu)
● Strong understanding of security best practices and experience with security systems and protocols
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross functional team
