POSITION SUMMARY :
To service and coordinate all order related activities to meet the requirements of the customers.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES TO BE ACCOMPLISHED :
Act as the primary customer interface for order management and responsible for processing customer orders and order changes to achieve timely response and delivery to the customers.
Handle sample requests.
Manage customer stocking programs (VMI/SMI, Demand Pull) to position sufficient inventory to support the customer’s schedules and at the same time control inventory to an optimum level.
Co-ordinate with 3rd Party service provider on shipments and delivery to the customers.
Update delivery commitment into Customer website for new orders, reschedules and forecast confirmation.
Involve in the implementation of any customer related program initiatives.
Co-ordinate customer returns and rework and process the necessary documentation such as RMA and Credit/Debit notes.
Maximize monthly billings to meet the sales target through meeting the delivery commitments and the Customers request dates.
Handle other ad-hoc projects as assigned by Manager.
EDUCATION (Qualifications obtained in the course of formal education and/or training)
Diploma or Degree Holders.
EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
1 year experience working in a customer service and planning function and preferably in the electronics industry. Knowledge of inventory management will be an added advantage.
Familiar with MRP/ERP planning system preferably with MFG/Pro application. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Words application.
Good interpersonal, communication and analytical skills. Ability to work under pressure and adaptable to change. Strong leadership and initiative. Possess a pleasant personality.
