Is Recruitment Automation Indispensable In The 21st Century?
We live in the age of AI, and automation is slowly pervading all aspects of our lives. From manufacturing to selling, automation is everywhere. Understandably, recruitment too has been influenced by this discipline.
And there’s no denying the fact that automation has made the recruitment process more streamlined. From initial screening, documentation to onboarding and induction, everything can be automated.
At the same time, automation helps to speed up the recruitment process, streamlines the data collection and helps with record-keeping. Seen that way, automation has truly lent convenience to recruiters.
However, it must be remembered that at the end of the day, recruitment is a human function. Unless actual human beings are involved in the process, it can be very hard to zero-in on the right talent.
Needless to say, without the right talent, no business can function well.
